Hi Akanksha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I am Akanksha and I go by the Instagram handle “unpacking_journeys” to share my journeys through the travel diaries I have been doing for the past two and a half years now.
I love to collect memories and explore new places and this handle is one of my efforts to share all my travel journeys with my followers alongside inspiring so many others to believe in their passion for travel as well.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Let me tell you, if it were a smooth road, I wouldn’t have been where I am today. It’s definitely not easy to manage travel while being consistent at content creation with a 9 to 5 job.
But I consider travel vlogging as one of my favorite hobbies, and I am sure of not leaving something that motivates me to do something for myself, something that I can call my own.
This has kept me determined while managing my job and so many other things.

The most important things are consistency and patience. It has been a while since I started taking my passion for travel seriously, and it has definitely given me a loyal base of followers as well.
But this would not be possible if I was not true to myself. I consider that the content you post is a true reflection of your persona, so I have tried to keep my content as real as possible while also indulging in some trendy content here and now to keep up with the digital creation on Instagram.
What are your upcoming plans and future goals Akanksha?
I definitely have plans to see my handle grow so that it takes me to even more amazing places where I have not been. For now, I have no plans to leave my job and be a full-time traveler, maybe soon in the future, because that is the ultimate dream.
