Kandima has a variety of lodging options, but the two most popular are on the beach or over the ocean. Both have great charm, but we didn’t know if we’d ever have another chance to stay in a villa on the sea, so that’s what we chose.

The aqua villas are situated above the water, overlooking the sea. They are supported by solid pillars that are embedded in the seabed.

Each villa/accommodation (beach or over the water) is thoughtfully constructed to give each guest maximum seclusion.

The aqua villas are separated from one another by privacy walls and your swim platform, allowing you to enjoy the magnificent blue seas directly from your Villa.

Some villas have plunge pools, while others, such as ours, include a Jacuzzi. There is plenty of room to rest and unwind. These units have a private sundeck with a Swirl Pool, lagoon entry, sun loungers, and a toilet with views of Kandima’s expansive lagoon.

Kandima Resort

Kandima’s island is about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) long. If you don’t want to walk everywhere, you may catch a shuttle at several points or rent a bike, which is what we did. We were able to navigate the island without having to spend time waiting for the shuttle because we had bikes.

The Kandima Resort is the size of a small city. We were there for five days and only scratched the surface of all the activities available. We barely had time to relax between activities and dining, let alone see or experience anything the resort had to offer.
