Explore The World With Miss. Nepal | Talk 5

Believe it or not, we all dream of traveling the world at least once, but very few of us complete this dream. Sometimes, the most accurate advice comes from those who live and breathe in a destination.

Today, we have a hidden guest who doesn’t want to reveal her name, but her travel experiences are not hidden from anyone anymore. This time, our guest is from Nepal, and she didn’t want to disclose her name, so we would love to call her Miss. Nepal.

The purpose of bringing Miss. Nepal to our travel talks series is to inspire introverts who think that to travel; they need to be extroverts and show their identities to everyone. Get ready to explore hidden places with passionate traveler Miss. Nepal.

Before continuing, here is a minor update: We just started taking written interviews on our blog. Contact us if you are a traveler and would like to be featured. Stay tuned for more travel talks like this in the future.

Let’s give a big hand to the hidden traveler and today’s guest, Miss. Nepal.

Hi Miss. Nepal, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

Meet Mrs. Nepal

Namaste,

I go by the Instagram handle “@tripodstand11.11.” I am from Nepal and have been traveling for a while now. I have completed 10+ treks so far, and all of them have been really adventurous and taught me so much about myself.

The best part about traveling somewhere is how you return back as a different person. I especially love adventurous trekking as they teach me how I would behave or react to a situation that is completely out of my comfort zone.

For me, trekking has been like taking up a stress management course that makes you so strong from within and gives you the power to overcome real-life difficulties, too.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

My travel journey began with a college tour a few years ago. I was a city girl until then. I never knew what was out of the city. On that tour, I got mocked by my fellow classmates when I was so amazed by an orange growing in a tree.

I hadn’t seen that sight anywhere in the city before. So, a spark of curiosity grew in me that lit up so bright it made me want to go out and see everything.

I still remember my first close encounter with a mountain. It was Mt. Kanchanjunga from Sikkim. That sight gave me happiness that nothing else in the city could give. I knew then that mountain was my one and only true calling.

I started to trek after that. In the beginning, it was difficult to convince my parents that I could do it. They were skeptical about me leaving the house for a week to trek in the mountains. But after a few treks, it changed.

Now, my mom proudly tells everyone about the places I have been to. I feel happy. Also, the anxiety about an unknown place and how I am gonna go to a strange place where I don’t know anyone is also totally gone. I am more confident and courageous than ever.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about travel influencing, vlogging, and content creation?

You should know that you are posting for yourself and not anyone else. People who resonate with you will stay connected with you.

You should never be afraid to express the real you in the most raw and authentic form. Make content from the heart that expresses who you are. If you make it from the heart, it will definitely touch hearts.

What are your upcoming plans and future goals?

I plan to keep traveling and exploring. I have a few trips that I want to complete this year. Most of them are spiritual and religious treks.

Other than that, I want to reach more people and inspire them to get outdoors.
